Virginia Tech Alumni Baltimore Chapter Wine Tasting
Join us on Saturday November 12th at Serpent Ridge Vineyard (www.serpentridge.com) for a Wine Tasting Social. Located in beautiful Carroll County, Serpent Ridge specializes in small lots of handmade wine from grapes grown in our vineyard, select Maryland vineyards, and other carefully chosen sites.
Beginning at 12:30, for $10 per person you will enjoy the wine tasting and light snacks. Reservations and pre-payment are preferred.
The Vineyard is located at 2962 Nicodemus Rd. in Westminster, MD 21157.

Wreath Project
For the second year, the Baltimore VT Alumni Chapter will be creating a wreath for the Kennedy Krieger Festival of Trees. The festival helps support Kennedy Krieger's research, patient care, special education, and community programs. Help us show our Hokie spirit while we support a great cause!
The wreaths are sold 'cash and carry' at the event. Last year's wreath was sold by Saturday afternoon of the event!
In order to make this year's wreath project a success, we are looking for donations of the following items:You can drop your donations off at the Wine Tasting on November 12th or contact Marriah Barnett at mbarnett@baltimorehokies.org or (443) 882-1769 to coordinate a donation.
- An artificial wreath (standard size you might hang on a front door)
- Maroon & Orange decorations (they can be either VT branded or just the correct color!)
- If you would prefer, we also welcome monetary donations that we can use to purchase supplies
Donations must be received by November 20th.
